Since we've previously read about The Villages, we're very familiar with all the amenities and activities these communities offer I'm wondering if anyone here has any opinions or heard anything about OTOTW? Has anyone golfed the courses there and if so, were the prices reasonable? Anyone have knowledge of the HOA dues?

In The Villages golf carts are driven on the same neighborhood streets as automobiles On the more heavier feeder streets through the neighborhoods golf carts travel on the same streets as automobiles but there are separate lanes for golf cart use

I watched the docudrama, "Some Kind of Heaven" which followed the lives of four people in The Villages, Florida I thought it would be more about The Villages--what it is, how it grew, what it's like to live there--and not a story about the trials and tribulations of four of its residents Other

The Villages offer reduced priced lodging in exchange for a short no-pressure tour, which, even though you won't be buying, will give you an excellent overview of the facilities and the entertainment shopping options that you would certainly use
