The difference between Swappa and eBay is that each transaction on Swappa is monitored by a human being, not a computer They have a really good verification system for listings, and you should have no problems JUST BEWARE of the excess fees My advice is have some patience and just tell them to send you a check for the payment from the seller

Swappa is hands down one of the best places to not only buy a phone but sell a phone I've bought numerous devices with no problems and I've sold numerous devices with no problems (except one, listed below) One time I sold an old Nexus 5 and the person used it for about 6 months

Swappa can be a trusted site, you just need to make sure that you fully and correctly represent your device New means new and factory sealed Mint is generally understood as someone opened the box to use the phone for a week before returning it to the box Most daily driver phones fall under Good or Fair conditions

Swappa post guidelines are also inconsistent, for instant I've seen some list their listing typed out on the phone - and it gets posted - I tried that recently and it wasn't accepted smh

Swappa staff does seem responsive and they are overseeing most transactions it seems - if you look at the comments, there's always a staff member asking to post a photo with the seller code for the item etc anyway, i'd recommend buying from Swappa and if you don't want to gamble, pay a little extra to get it from one of its well rated sellers

Swappa is basically ebay, but they have a lot of phone specific stuff built in, including checks to see whether the thing you are buying is stolen blacklisted (well, at least as of when the listing began) I've probably bought a dozen or so phone of swappa and sold several as well One device turned out to have been blacklisted after I bought it, and I was in the process of selling it when the
